First things, first: What is a gaywiki?

Gaywiki aims to be a lot of things. Foremost, it's a place to find and share those bits of wisdom, information, and snarkiness that keep our community knit together.

Huh?

Great question; we're glad you asked. Gaywiki is a super-cool repository of content created by its members. It's made up of "scenes," which are pages about places to eat, drink, meet up, work out, read, shop ... basically places where you and people like you do stuff. Scenes include descriptions, pictures, contact information, and real ratings and reviews by members. You can find a scene by searching on your ZIP code or by browsing all scenes, or you can search for the scene by name. Can't find a scene that you know should be included? Go ahead, "make a scene" by adding it yourself. It's easy and anyone can do it by creating a gaywiki membership.

What else can you do on gaywiki?

There's more to gaywiki than scenes. This is a place for you to express yourself. Like to write? Start a blog... Comment on someone else's blog... Upload a few pics...

Is that all?

Of course not! We're working around the clock to add cool new features to the site. Some features are still being beta tested, so you'll have to look hard to find them. Others are in the final moments of primping and will be announced soon. In the mean time, why not get wiki'd?
